Computerized Application Trucks
Our computerized application trucks, also known as spray trucks, are designed to precisely apply our dust control, road stabilization, and soil stabilization solutions where they’re needed. These trucks can carry up to 4,500 gallons of product.
Tracked Application Machine
a.k.a. "The Crawler"
Our tracked application machine aka “The Crawler” is what we use to treat for treating mine tailings, firebreaks, building pipelines, power transmission lines, oilfields – anywhere a regular application truck can’t go.
Hopper Trailer Hauling Ice Slicer
We can haul up to 25 tons of Ice Slicer to our customers in this hopper trailer.
The "Floater" Gets The Product There
Desert Mountain Equipment includes our Special Surface Transfer Truck aka the “Floater”. It is utilized to not only apply the product, but to also transfer the product from the mixing/storage area to the crawler.
Flatbeds, Super Sacks & Ice Slicer
We can deliver Ice Slicer in 2,000 lb. Super Sacks via our flatbed trailers anywhere in our nine state region.
Trucks, Tankers, and Pups
When transporting our liquid dust control, anti-icing, and deicing solutions, we can haul from 4,500 to 7,500 gallons at a time, depending on regulations.
Mixing Trailers
Desert Mountain Corporation offers concentrated and custom blended products that may need to be mixed on the job site. We’ll bring our mixing trailer and products to ensure the correct dilution rates are occurring.
The Pneumatic Trailer
Our pneumatic trailer can hold around 24 tons or 48,000 pounds. A Pneumatic Trailer (aka “dry bulk tank”) is a metal cylinder with a series of cone-shaped hoppers.
A series of openings (or “manholes”) at the top of each hopper is for loading dry bulk materials that are usually gravity fed from a silo.
At the bottom of each hopper car (or “Pod”) is a valve, which is opened into a pipe that runs below the trailer. When it is time to unload, the driver opens the valves, letting the product run out of the hopper and into the pipe at the delivery locations.
Crawler Pickup
Desert Mountain’s Crawler Pickup supports our team, addresses issues, and assists in tailings areas.
Portable Storage Tanks
Portable storage tanks are utilized in our storage yards and on job sites. For jobs over 100 acres, we utilize onsite storage tanks to hold our dust control products and water. For one project alone, we used over 300,000 gallons of water and dust control agent.
